The Union County Board of Developmental Disabilities (UCBDD) and its community partners provide services and supports to eligible individuals in Union County who have a developmental disability. Eligible individuals include all ages, from birth through the end of life.
Most of the direct care, support, and therapy is provided by individuals and agency providers selected by the individual or family, with the exception of our Early Intervention Program and preschool services at the Harold Lewis Center. Services are arranged, authorized, and managed by the Union County Board of Developmental Disabilities (UCBDD) Service Consultant based on an individual plan and budget.
In addition to agencies that the Union County Board of Developmental Disabilities pay to provide service, we partner with public and not-for-profit organizations to address the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
